Spring Flower Bike/Walking/Barge Belgium Holland Amsterdam-Bruges
The Spring Flower Tour offers the best of two countries and has been 4Winds' best selling tour for the past five years. This route shows you many major highlights in Belgium and Holland. They include the favorites: the flower fields and the visit to the annual flower exhibition the Keukenhof, and the birthday celebration of the famous Dutch 17th century painter Rembrandt, with a Rembrandt walk through Leiden and looking at his paintings in the Mauritshuis Museum. This nine-day tour is a more compact version of their 11-day Spring Flower Bruges to Amsterdam, which departs in April.
These tours includes many entrance fees, choice every day between two guides, and transportation by private coach between Amsterdam airport and Bruges. Transfers between Amsterdam and Amsterdam Airport are not provided, since the barge is only less than a ten-minute walk from the Amsterdam Central train station and there is a direct connection by train (train runs every 15 minutes) to the airport.
These tours are designed to be suitable for bicyclists as well as non-bicyclists. There is most days some barging with nice views of the countryside from the deck or the picture windows of the dining/sitting room. The barge Tijdgeest is a double decker, with air conditioning in the dining/recreation area, most cabins have double beds and single beds, a few have only single beds (in a 90-degree angle). 4Winds offers upgraded meals, warm dish with breakfast, warm dish if everybody is on board with lunch (otherwise packed lunch), four-course dinner with glass of wine.
