Harmel’s Ranch Resort is the most flexible and comprehensive dude and guest ranch resort in Colorado. They have been around well before the turn of the century - since the Tin Cup Gold Mining District and the first stagecoach stop. No other guest ranch offers such a wide range of activities and options for the whole family. From Fishermen's Holiday to the Run of the Ranch, they say yes to you.

Homesteaded as a dude ranch a century ago, Harmel’s has been called “The Icon” of the pristine Taylor River Canyon. Surrounded by high mountain wilderness, the ranch is the home of Colorado “Gold medal” fishing. Guides and lessons, as well as a fully equipped fly shop, are provided for your convenience for all your angling needs. At the center of whitewater adventure, Harmel’s boasts a fine remuda of mountain bred western saddle horses. There is no other ranch that offers the flexibility and variety of activities for people of all ages. Harmel’s is unique, exciting, entertaining and adventurous.

Reservation Policy

All reservations are guaranteed subject to written confirmation. Harmel's takes reservations via email or phone. They need a deposit to hold the reservation due within 10 days. Usually, they ask for a 30% deposit, but for larger parties and other special functions they may ask for 50%. The rest of your bill is payable upon check-out.

Cancellation Policy

Deposits will be refunded in full if such written cancellation is received 30 days prior to arrival (groups require 90 days prior to arrival). Should any circumstance dictate the necessity to cancel on less than 30 days notice (60 for groups) or a situation arises whereby guests would have late arrivals or early departures, a penalty in the amount of the deposit will be charged. Deposits will apply to any unused or unsold portion of the reservation. However, Harmel's will make every effort to sell the reserved space and refund deposits, less a 10% handling fee.
