Introducing the Legacy, the largest, most impressive houseboat in the Waterway fleet. Promising to be the most luxurious vessel on the Shuswap and arguably on any lake in BC, the Legacy stretches to an amazing 94 feet long! Complete with all the features you've come to love on the Genesis model boats, the Legacy boasts incredible add ons such as: a furnished boardroom, video conferencing potential, 14-foot ceilings, pure granite counter tops, enlarged hottub, 42-inch plasma TV and a chandelier. The legacy is a versatile boat, perfect for large parties or a more intimate corporate event. The three-story, 24-foot wide Legacy features walkways down both sides, six staterooms, four bonus rooms, cuddy rooms as well as heavier insulation than its predecessors. So proud are the builders of this pioneering vessel, one of them has been moved to say: "With the Legacy dawns a new era in houseboating."

Reservation Policy

A reservation can only be confirmed upon receipt of a Reservation Security Deposit. The deposit for bookings on the Mirage and Genesis models is $750. The deposit for bookings on the Legacy Model is $1500. This deposit is due at the time of booking and may be made by Cash, Check, Visa or MasterCard. Please note Waterway Houseboat Vacations cannot hold a reservation without a deposit.

Cancellation Policy

Your reservation deposit is fully refundable for 10 days following the date the booking was made. During this 10-day grace period you may also make any changes you require to either your sailing date and/or the boat model.

If your reservation is cancelled before December 31st of the year prior to sailing, your reservation deposit of $750/$1500 is fully refundable unless your reservation has been transferred from a previous year. Between January 1st and up until 60 days prior to sailing, 90 days on the Mirage 66 and Genesis models, 120 days on the Legacy 94,if you cancel or make any changes to your reservation, including boat model and/or date changes, you will be charged a $525/$750/$1000 Facilitation Fee. All cancellations must be requested in writing.

In the event of a cancellation LESS than 60 days to your sailing date, 90 days on the Mirage 66 and Genesis models, 120 days on the Legacy 94, you will lose your entire rental payment unless Waterway Houseboat Vacations is able to re-charter your vessel. If Waterway Houseboat Vacations is able to re-charter your vessel, you will be refunded less the $525/$750/$1000 facilitation fee and any discount the vessel was given in order to be re-chartered at short notice.

The full rental payment is due 60 DAYS prior to your sailing date, with the exceptions of the Mirage 66, Genesis models, and Legacy 94, which are due 90 DAYS prior to your sailing date. Your reservation may be cancelled without notice if Waterway Houseboat Vacations does not receive payment in full by the due date.
