DESCRIPTION

Rolling down National Scenic Highway 101 along the foothills and beaches of the Pacific Northwest, this Oregon road cycling trip showcases the beautiful and diverse 360-mile Oregon coastline.

Starting from the Columbia River at Fort Stevens State Park, wind your way down the coast, enjoying views of the Pacific Ocean from several stunning cliff overlooks. This biking tour is punctuated with a layover day, which allows you to explore several state parks nearby and enjoy the rugged coast at your leisure. Then head to Reedsport, where lush forest gives way to thousands of acres of cream-colored sand dunes known as the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Evenings are spent in quaint inns and resorts steeped in local history and flavor and brought to a close with a brilliant Pacific Ocean sunset.
