Rates are per person, based on twin share or double occupancy. The tour price is land-only. Flights are not included in the price. National Park entries are not included in the price but paid locally.
Day 1 - 2: Buenos Aires Tour & Tango ShowBuenos Aires, Argentina
Day 01: Buenos Aires - Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred by private service to your hotel, leaving you the remainder of the day to explore the historic neighborhoods and enjoy the cafe culture of Buenos Aires.
Day 02: Buenos Aires City Tour & Tango Show - Breakfast. Our City Tour will provide you a great overview of the city and its diverse attractions. Over the course of three hours you will have the chance to visit Retiro, Avenida 9 de Julio, Downtown, Puerto Madero, San Telmo, Recoleta and La Boca. In the evening you will be treated to one of Buenos Aires' most emblematic cultural highlights: a Dinner and Tango Show offering a spectacular demonstration of the local dancing accompanied by delicious Argentine cuisine and all the malbec you'd like.
Day 3 - 6: Peninsula ValdesPuerto Madryn, Patagonia, Argentina
Day 03: Buenos Aires / Puerto Madryn - Breakfast. At the appropriate time, you will be taken to the domestic airport to take your flight to Trelew, private service (67 km south of Puerto Madryn).
Day 04: Peninsula Valdes - After breakfast you will be led on a full day's tour of the Valdes Peninsula. To enter this UNESCO World Heritage site, you will cross an incredibly narrow strip of land with sea on both sides. Further along you will arrive at Caleta Valdes, a large natural creek that is home to a colony of sea elephants. After admiring Caleta Valdes, you'll continue along the road as it drops suddenly down into a crescent of golden cliffs overlooking a bright blue bay and the small village of Puerto Piramides. Here herds of southern right whales tend to arrive in late June. You will take a boat trip around the bay and watch these immense creatures gliding past. While the whales may be seen from late June to mid December, the sea elephants and sea lions are permanent residents. Following your tour, you will return to your hotel in Puerto Madryn.
Day 05: Penguins in Punta Tombo / Puerto Madryn - After a leisurely breakfast you will leave Puerto Madryn and drive 120km south to visit the largest colony of Magellan penguins in South America. The colony's population reaches over half a million birds during the peak season, and the best time to visit is between October and April. One of the greatest features of this reserve is the fact that you can literally walk among the penguins and observe their habits. You'll have the opportunity to see how they feed their babies, defend their territory, build their nests, and of course watch their characteristic comedy waddle in and out of the sea. Following the tour you will head to Trelew in order to visit the Egidio Feruglio Paleontology Museum, before continuing to the charming Welsh town of Gaiman for afternoon tea and Welsh delicacies. You will then return to your hotel in Puerto Madryn just in time to enjoy the sunset.
Day 6 - 7: El Calafate Glacier TourEl Calafate, Patagonia, Argentina
Day 06: Puerto Madryn / El Calafate - Breakfast. At the appropriate time you will be transferred to the airport in Trelew to take your flight to El Calafate. Upon arrival you will be taken to the hotel and have the rest of the day to relax or explore the areas around the town or possibly make the 1km hike out to Laguna Nimez for a beautiful Patagonian sunset.
Day 07: El Calafate / Perito Moreno Glacier - After an early breakfast, you will leave on a full-day excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier, in Los Glaciers National Park. A UNESCO World Heritage site since 1981 and home to one of the most awe-inspiring sites in Argentina, Perito Moreno Glacier is a site to behold. During the tour you will have the chance to enjoy stunning views of the glacier from the nearby walking trail and viewing platforms, as well as from an included Perito Moreno Glacier boat cruise that will take you close enough to fully appreciate the 80m high ice walls! In the early evening, you will return to you hotel in Calafate. For even more adventure, you may want to consider either taking the Big Ice or Mini-Trekking excursion (at an extra cost). Day 8 - 10: Bariloche TourBariloche, Patagonia, Argentina
Day 08: El Calafate / Bariloche - Breakfast. At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Bariloche. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel and have the afternoon to explore the town's Swiss plaza or try some of the locally-made chocolates.
Day 09: Bariloche / History and Nature - Breakfast. This semi-private excursion shows the surroundings of San Carlos de Bariloche and Llao-Llao Natural Reserve. While visiting the most important viewpoints of the area, the guide tells us how this little mountain village changed into one of the most attractive tourist cities in Patagonia. We will appreciate the beauty of different lakes and mountains and we will do a nature-oriented walk through a native forest. We finish the excursion by visiting a traditional microbrewery. Box lunch and Cerro Campanario Hill lift-chair tickets included.
Day 10: Bariloche / Isla Victoria & Bosque de Arrayanes Excursion - After breakfast you will be taken to Puerto Pañuelo to depart on full-day cruise to Isla Victoria & Bosque de Arrayanes (Victoria Island and Arrayanes Forest). Return to your hotel later in the afternoon.
Day 11 - 12: End Of The Trip ItineraryBuenos Aires, Argentina
Day 11: Bariloche / Buenos Aires - At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival to Buenos Aires, you will have a private transfer to your hotel.
Day 12: Buenos Aires - Breakfast. At the appropriate time you will have a private transfer to the international airport for your flight back home. Have a great trip!
