Nestled deep in the South Pacific, New Zealand offers the visitor a sparkling, clean environment and a freedom loving, friendly people who will make you feel welcome on your travels. New Zealand is a small country with an even smaller population (3.1 million) but offers an outdoor paradise for white water rafting and kayaking rivaling none. With space to relax, stretch out on deserted beaches and soak in magnificent scenery beneath brilliant, blue skies, New Zealand can’t be topped. From the majestic fiords and Alps on the South Island to the native forests and white sandy bays of the North Island, this is both a land of awesome beauty and of contrasts.
Come and see New Zealand the best way — with the personable and experienced guides of Dvorak Expeditions and our associates.
We offer both white water rafting and kayaking expeditions on seven to eleven New Zealand rivers.
One river flows out of mountains so remote that few have walked there and fewer still have paddled – One twists and rages through a stretch of the most awesome whitewater in the country at a place known as “The Chinese dogleg.” – Another blasts through an historic mining tunnel, exploding into a Class IV rapid as it comes back to daylight. The rivers of New Zealand, are full of enough whitewater and scenery to fill a lifetime.
