Hiking the National Parks of the Spanish Pyrenees
|Adventure Travel > Iberian Adventures > Hiking the National Parks of the Spanish Pyrenees|
The mighty Pyrenees extend from the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean, forming a massive natural boundary between France and Spain. This carefully crafted trip uses valley-based hotels in ancient mountain villages in each of Spain's two national parks in the Pyrenees, allowing you to experience classic hiking trails, traditional culture and fascinating history in this wonderful mountain range.
Take a hike on the wild side and join us on this trip of outstanding natural beauty, towering summits and deep canyons. We'll spend 3 nights based in the valley of Val de Boí, UNESCO World Heritage Site and gateway to Aigüestortes I Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, a wonderland of granite and water. The second half of the trip is based in the heart of the spectacular central massif of the Pyrenees where we hike in the canyons of Spain’s renowned Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park.
