The Southwest Inn at Sedona was voted "the best place to stay in Sedona" by readers of Sedona Spectrum Magazine three years in a row. The Inn was given an award for great design by "Keep Sedona Beautiful" and has been recognized by the City of Sedona for "its use of design & color."
"Pampered... It's what you get when you combine a small luxury hotel with a Bed & Breakfast."
Awaken to view the spectacular red rock vistas from your room's deck or patio. Enjoy a sumptuous continental breakfast, go for a swim or soak in the pool and spa. Spacious, beautiful totally non-smoking rooms offer the ultimate in Santa Fe style decor.
The Southwest Inn at Sedona...when only exceptional quality and personal attention is desired.
Sedona is a wonderful place to enjoy a week or a weekend mini-vacation. Enjoy the serenity of uncrowded hiking trails or an adventurous off-road jeep tour. Learn more about the Native American culture by visiting Indian Ruins, pictograph and petroglyph sites. Eat at your choice of 75 restaurants, all within twenty minutes of the hotel. The hotel is about two hours from the Grand Canyon and two hours north of Phoenix.
Note: All rooms, decks, patios, etc. are non-smoking.
"What a pleasant surprise your place was. Not only do you offer the best views for the area, but the staff was so helpful. We tried The Romance package, and were very happy with it. It lead to the discovery of the Heartline Cafe (where we ate every night there after) and meeting Dan from the Pink Jeep tours was great. Just so happens his wife owns Desert Flour next door to you, so we got to meet her too. Your facility was so clean, comfortable, and accommodating.
The only thing we could have asked for was MORE TIME AT THE SWINN! Thanks for a great experience. Hope to come back sooner than later."

Tech Savvy
At the Southwest Inn, technology is second nature. Joel Gilgoff, owner, started his career as a computer designer with IBM in Poughkeepsie NY.
Many guests like to be able to receive and send email even when on vacation. It is also known that there are some "Ebay Addicts" counted among the guests. The hotel wants to assure you that they are equipped to handle your technology needs.
The Inn has a brand new state of the art digital telephone system. All guestrooms have voice mail and two telephone lines and two telephone instruments. One line is used for the room telephone and the other is a dedicated modem line. The Inn is equipped with a T1 telephone line. This line gives digital clarity to all of your voice and data communications.
The T1 line provides 24 individual circuits - combined with the normal six "analog circuits" - there are 30 telephone lines for 28 rooms. This abundance of telephone lines should result in never getting an annoying busy signal when you need to make a call.
Guests have said repeatedly that the website is one of the finest they have ever seen. You can use the website to view a list of things to do in the Sedona area as well as two current calendars of events (up to a year ahead). The site also has recommendations of tours, restaurants and hiking trails. Use the website to plan the activities you will enjoy before leaving your home. That way you won't miss a thing.
All guestrooms have cable TV (60+ channels) with HBO and VCRs connected to 25" TVs for your viewing pleasure. In addition all rooms have clock radios. All suites and mission king rooms also have CD players.
There is now a high speed internet cafe with access available to guests (a small hourly fee is charged). Three Dell PC systems are located in this internet cafe - off the breakfast room and they are available to guests from 7:00 am - 9:00 pm for a modest fee.
There is also a state of the art conference room (set up as a board room) with high speed internet access available. This could be perfect for your meetings of up to 12 people.
What's New at the Inn
In order to provide you with the best, most relaxing experience the following has been added:
1. A gym - complete with Stairmaster, treadmill, recumbent bicycle.
2. A conference room capable of holding meetings of ten people in a boardroom setting (please consider holding a future retreat or meeting at the Inn).
All rooms have: refrigerators, coffee makers, gas fireplaces, hair dryers, 25" TV's with 40+ cable channels and HBO, nine-foot ceilings, ceiling fans, individual air-conditioning/heating units, telephones (free local & 800/888 calls), custom amenities, night lights in the bathrooms, beautiful southwest decor and framed southwest graphics on the walls.
King Suite - located on the second floor (for best views). Two rooms separated by a large bathroom with a double vanity sink and a standard tub/shower. One room has a king-size bed, a 25" TV, a video tape player, an easy chair, and a small private balcony facing the red rock views. The other room has a queen-size sleeper sofa with another TV, a kiva (beehive) style gas fireplace. The room has a private entrance, a large (five-foot) closet, a refrigerator and a bar area. The room has a nine-foot ceiling height. There is no room for a rollaway bed in this room type.
King View - located on the second floor (for best views). One large room with one king-size bed, an easy chair, a table with two task chairs and good lighting. The room has a closet, 25" TV, a large bathroom with a standard tub/shower. The room has a large private deck facing the red rock views. There is room for a rollaway in this room type.
Mission King - same floor plan as King View (also on the second floor) with the addition of a small bar area, and private entrance. This is a "theme room". The room decor is in the style of Frank Lloyd Wright, with dark oak furniture (in the "arts & crafts" period), lamps, wall graphics, drapes and bedspreads all reminiscent of this period of the 20's and 30's.
Two Queen Beds - available on both the lower level and upper level (the upper level has better views). The rooms have two queen-size beds, a good size closet and a table with two task chairs. The room's bathrooms have a standard tub/shower. The upper level units have a private deck facing the views. The lower level units have a patio (shared with their adjacent room) with limited red rock views. There is no room for a rollaway in this room type. Two of the dual queen rooms on the first level have connecting doors to their adjoining dual queen with Jacuzzi. For those with families who would like more room, this makes an ideal large two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite. King or Dual Queen with Jacuzzi - located on the first floor only so as not to disturb guests below with the noise of the tub. Similarly equipped as the King or Dual Queen View rooms, but with a separate stall shower and whirlpool bathtub in the bathroom. These rooms have a shared or private patio and have a limited red rock view. King Jacuzzi rooms have the room to add a rollaway bed. Dual Queen Jacuzzi rooms do not.
Dual Queen Jacuzzi rooms are also available as connecting room pairs. They each connect to an adjacent dual queen level one room, making a two-bathroom, four-bedded room for larger families.
One King Bed - these rooms are located on the first floor. They have one king-sized bed. They have wheelchair accessibility and are built to meet ADA standards. There are grab bars in the tub/shower and around the toilet. They have standard tub/showers. They also have a table with two task chairs and have plenty of room for a rollaway. They also have one easy chair. They have a private patio near the outdoor spa with limited red rock views.
Heated Pool & Spa - come on in.... the water is just right! Morning, noon or evening, the sparkling pool and spa is just right to relax.
Deluxe continental breakfast (fresh baked bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, fruit juices, coffees, teas, etc.) Entirely Non-Smoking Two rooms are ADA handicap-equipped Open Year-Round Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, Diners Club
