Overview
Adirondack River Outfitters run high adventure whitewater rafting trips on three New York rivers: the Black, the Hudson and the Moose. They provide their guests with the finest professional equipment, including helmets. A hearty, hot meal follows each trip. Spring trips include on-river high-energy snacks and warm beverages. They offer group rates, group leader incentives, special rates for college, youth, and military groups, and deeply discounted Friday and Fall season rates. A Perfect Summer’s Day…
If summer only lasted one perfect day it would be rafting with Adirondack River Outfitters (ARO). It would consist of exhilarating whitewater, jokes and songs, water fights, shorts and tees, and relaxing stretches in the hot sun as your raft drifts down a quiet section of the river. It would be completed with the hearty barbecue feast around a crackling fire at the end of the day with the camaraderie of your friends and family.
ARO offers trips to appeal to everyone’s desires. It could be a family trip with young ones rafting and tubing down the Black River or the Sacandaga River in the summer or fall. It could be hard-core whitewater rafting down the Moose and Black Rivers in spring. Or maybe something in-between on the Hudson River. For over 20 years ARO has guided over 90,000 guests down exciting Adirondack rivers. Every raft is manned by a personable New York state licensed guide and all of the trips are escorted by an expert kayaker.
