Overview

Outfitters since 1969, Bill Dvorak's Rafting & Kayak Expeditions hopes that this information will stimulate your imagination and sense of adventure in the same way that whitewater rafting and playing in and on the white water has done to Jaci and Bill Dvorak. After living in Australia and New Zealand, they first started river rafting in the USA in 1969. Needless to say, they were hooked on whitewater rafting. Still having such a vast amount of river miles to explore, enjoy and experience, they can't see where that "River Magic" spell will end. Ed Abbey said it pretty clearly:

'Beyond the wall of the unreal city, beyond the security fences topped with barbed wire and razor wire, beyond the asphalt belting of the super highways, beyond the cemented banksides of our temporarily stopped and mutilated rivers, beyond the rage of lies that poisons the air, there is another world waiting for you. It is the old true world of the desert, the rivers, the mountains, the forests, the islands, the shores, the open plains. Go there! Be there! Walk gently and quietly deep within it. And then…'

Bill and Jaci Dvorak not only hope that you have this kind of whitewater rafting experience; they encourage it. However, your safety is first and foremost in their minds.

Each of the rivers has its own personality and Bill and Jaci certainly would be more than willing to schedule a whitewater rafting trip for you, your family or friends. Their style of "River Magic" is unique and they want the wealth of knowledge they have gained to be shared with you.

'May your trails be dim, lonesome stony, narrow, winding and only slightly uphill. May the wind bring rain for the slickrock potholes fourteen miles on the other side of yonder blue ridge. May God's dog serenade your campfire, may the rattlesnake and the screech owl amuse your reverie, may the Great Sun dazzle your eyes by day and the Great Bear watch over you by night.'
