Why try a dory? The dory’s ancestor is the original Portuguese fishing dory--those pretty harbor boats that accent many European paintings. Even now, each dory is a handcrafted piece of art. But in whitewater it becomes a thrilling and bold roller coaster rocketing off every crest, then firmly landing in an explosion of glistening spray.
