ABOUT THE RANCH
Wildman Whitewater Ranch is a unique white water rafting and outdoor adventure facility, designed to recreate the feel of a “Wild West” town. Activities at the ranch include spring, summer and fall whitewater rafting on the Peshtigo and Menominee Rivers, high ropes challenge course with giant swing and wintertime snowmobile tours and cross-country skiing.
Located directly on the famous ROARING RAPIDS section of the Peshtigo River it is close enough to Milwaukee, Chicago and Minneapolis for a weekend getaway. The mighty Peshtigo River provides an amazing backdrop for this retreat nestled within the old growth forest of the north woods. Riverside hiking trails, trophy bass fishing, biking, and weekend entertainment, are just a few of the extras at the ranch which will ensure that you have a fun and memorable experience.
BLUES PORCH ENTERTAINMENT
Saturdays and holidays from Memorial Day to Labor Day enjoy the “Blues Porch Music Series.” Relax by the fire in Wildman’s new pavilion, meet new friends and enjoy the surroundings as Wildman presents live music on the Blues Porch by international recording artists. The show starts at 7:30. Bring your ice chest! A sand volleyball court and horseshoes are also located by the pavilion.
CAMPING, CAMPING CABINS & CABIN RENTALS
At the Wildman Whitewater Ranch, camping is a great part of the experience. All sites are right on the banks of the Peshtigo River. Each site has an in ground pit/grill and picnic table. Wildman’s ultra modern and clean shower house is only a short distance from any campsite.
Wildman’s “Cozy Cabins” add comfort to your camping experience. These log bunkhouses sleep up to 5 people and each has a covered porch with a view of the river. In ground pit/grill, picnic table and tent site are also included.
Wildman Whitewater Ranch has fully equipped Luxury Cabins available for guests to rent. Each cabin has special features such as fireplace, Jacuzzi tub, Satellite TV and more!
ALPINE TOWER HIGH ROPES COURSE
The Alpine Tower is a remarkable high ropes course adventure constructed on a series of vertical towers, providing an unforgettable outdoor experience. Wildman’s guided introduction program is a half-day session in which you will “summit” the tower and experience the dramatic 100-foot “swing by choice.” Alpine Tower programs provide a tremendous family experience because children as well as adults of all ages can participate in the variety of events offered.
MOUNTAIN & TANDEM BIKING
Wildman Whitewater Ranch is located near Nicolet National Forest, with hundreds of miles of mountain biking trails and a wide selection of terrain to choose from. Or, take a tour of the area’s paved backcountry roads explore scenic points of interest, a variety of shops and a roadside ice cream parlor.
SNOWMOBILING
Ride the groomed snowshoe trail, and nearby lakes. Rental gear, and guiding service is also available. Get out of the house this winter and enjoy the WINTER WONDERLAND in the north woods. One and two person sleds. Ask about weekend cabin and sled packages. See You At The Ranch!
